The Center for Academic and Career Engagement

Welcome to the Center for Academic and Career Engagement! We offer support programs designed to help students succeed in college, we provide academic and career advising for freshmen seeking degrees in University College, the College of Education, the College of Nursing, and Scholars' College, and we are available to assist students on a walk-in basis. 

During their first semester, freshmen meet with their ACE Advisors to:

• Discuss academic and career goals
• Identify values, interests, skills 
• Explore career options
• Complete course selection and registration for the following semester.

Students who are exploring college majors and occupational opportunities are our primary concerns.  In addition to a highly qualified staff, ACE provides a Freshmen Career Exploration Center to assist students with the 4-step career exploration process and other advising related issues.
